Piers
There are two main Piers in Bournemouth, Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier.
Bournemouth Pier can be found in the centre of Bournemouth a stones throw from the city Centre. The pier is a place to either relax and take in the views, to the East of the Isle of Wight and to the West of Purbeck hills or to enjoy the many attractions, retail outlets and entertainment. It is possible to fish off the west landing stage of the pier but you are require to obtain a permit from either the Bournemouth Tourist Information Centre or the toll booth on the pier for more information. For prices to enter the pier please click here.
Boscombe Pier is a lot more relaxed but is the perfect location to watch volleyball, table tennis and mini golf. Looking for something a little more adventurous there are some purpous built boulders next to the pier designed for climbing or even have a go at slacklining. The pier is free to enter and there are many cafes, takeaways and beach shops within a short distance of the pier.
